Horseback Riding in Costa Rica is a lot of fun, especially on the 4-hour Campesino Trails and Gulf Views Ride. The route takes you off the beaten track! The ride is a little more adventurous than the 2.5-hour ride as you go up and down some dirt trails that can get muddy if it rains, but this all adds to the fun! It is not for complete beginners, so best to have ridden at least a few times. The tour is aptly named as the views of the Gulf of Nicoya are amazing and you will have beautiful views of the surrounding cloud forests and the countryside. You will cross streams and have plenty of time to take some fantastic photos. Along the route, the guide will keep his eyes out for sloths and toucans which are sometimes seen along the way and you will not fail to enjoy all the surrounding plant life. Horseback Riding in Costa Rica is a must-do!
